Community Matters provides training locally in subjects which our participants have asked for to help them reach their employment goals. Our classes are small usually 8 to 12 neighbors who are all at the same level of learning. Our work shops are led by neighbors or staff who have both Canadian experience and experience from back home. These courses and work shops are part of our pre-employment program  to prepare you for learning both in the community as well as at local colleges and university.

COMPUTER TRAINING

Beginning and intermediate training in Microsoft office, Internet Browsing, creating Emails and Website development.

CHILD MINDING TRAINING

Learning the tools to become a good child minder including safety, child development, child activities and nutrition.

Public speaking

Gain confidence by participating your public speaking skills in front of others.
