Community Matters has acted as a Constituent Group and has sponsored refugees from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and The Democratic Republic of The Congo for over 15 years. Through our present services we partner with volunteer groups, throughout the GTA. The volunteer od Constituent Groups provide financial and settlement support for refugees and their families during their first year in Canada.

Constituent groups can be formed through community and social groups, or families.  We 5work closely with these groups to ensure that refugees receive a smooth welcome and are  connected with proper resources to support their settlement process here in Canada.
